I am unable to understand how people can forget even such tragic accident and do not learn lessons.
In year 2006 my younger brother also met a fatal accident.
My younger brother made plan to visit haripur (from lahore) alongwith his three other friends to attend marriage ceremony of his friend's elder brother and from their to visit murree etc.
they took our brand new mehran, the duration of total trip was 4 days I guess. his age was about 20 year at that time.
they attended ceremony and from there left for muree. car was brand new and 03 out of them were visiting hill station for the first time so all were very excited.
after attending marriage ceremony they left for murree. in the way to murree passing in hilly area at a sharp turn driver lost control over car and over turned and fell into a deep trench.
driver remained absolutely fine, the guy at passenger received multiple fractures. My brother was sitting behind the driver, no fracture but some serious wounds and was in trauma and person sitting next to younger brother died at spot.
it is a long story how they were shifted to hospital and then to lahore, leave it.
only my brother was invited in marriage ceremony wheras other were alongwith him to visit murree etc. because of this fact i saw my younger brother literally crying even weeks after the incident that his friend died just because of him. for a long time period whenever traveling in car he ll not allow driver to cross 50 kmph even if there is no other vehicle on road. he still hv that wound marks on back side of his left hand and other body parts.
but last time when i visited lahore (at the end of May 2013) we both we going on jail road, he was driving and I was at passenger seat. suddenly his cell rang, he took his cell in his hand and started texting.
I shouted what the hell are u doing..............
the point to post here is that we must recall such tragic incident time to time to keep the lesson learned always in mind.
