i wll share the horror story of Selling Picanto i would say horror bcz i m not dealer (i got depressed by stupid arguments over a car like ap ke gari fuel ziada khati hey koi nai le ga stuff like that" ) being IT person Technical project manager in my company it was not my job to sell the car kher.. i will share pix of the car also.
i will share the background also. how i got alto and picanto.. ... may be its irrelevant to some people but still ..
last year i got delivered my alto VXR in april it was my first brand new car... then company gave me AT Picanto .. and
terms were pretty simple after 5 years i will be the owner of the car. if i stay and stick to company.
everybody knows PICANTO fuel is too much ... my friend revo his revo and mine picanto avg is same .. on Shahrae faisal it gives 8.5 who ever lives in karachi he got the idea.. how much traffic we have in the evening on shahrae faisal
i love picanto build Quality, sound insulation , AC but back seating and fuel was big turn off i was using that car for family like weekends ,,.. for office alto... when ever i drive alto after driving picanto i feel like i m driving mehran i mean.kher. anyhow
when petrol reached 324 rs .. and Salary tax increased 2.5% more like in 2018 on 300k tax was 16k now same salary 300k now tax is 36k which is totally unfair..
We talked to boss.. he said sell the car .and
i will give this $$$ amount in the behalf of car or keep that car.. no increment in salary that offer was so tempting we were getting 2 benefits.

- $$$ amount increase in salary
So my increment will applicable when my car sold .so i have to sell the car asap .
first i posted the ad on pakwheels paid ad i got almost no offer in the start then slowly i reduced the price over and over
then i was getting ..offers mostly were dealer they started with
- Bahi fuel bhout peeti hy ..
- bahi is ke resale nai hy
3 bahi blue mercury color hy market color nai
4 bahi 27 le loo abhi du ga.. cash..and itni offer koi nai de ga.. (similar car 2022 model 9800 driven people were asking 32 i was asking 2850)
phir i got some offers from normal people like they were not dealer but they were pakistani u know. rich people normal peoples all were liars.
initially i really was really depressed i thought market is slow i knew that market is slow now a days but still
people were offering with biased arguments like
- bahi fuel ziada bahi..
- is main bumber main scratches hy .( there were v.minor i will show you the pic)
- yaar gari achi but color accha nai..
4 bahi ap invoice price 2 lac uper sale kar rae hoo.
5 bahi .. 2020 ke 23 ke mil rahi hy ..40k driven..why should i buy ur car offer me 25 last he said is se acchi offer nai hog e..
mostly were for wives and families
1 month passed so many people visited me and saw the car gone with wind initially on every visit i washing the car .try to clean the dirts bcz when deal finalized with company i was not driving the car i was scared of any dent etc..
after 1 month i was really depressed reason bcz delay mean losing my incentive every month
let me tell you ..
before visiting the car i was sharing honest video of my car showing the scratches with full dignity and honestly i dont wanna waste anyone time.
some offer was like.. bahi i got a property exchange kar lo
i was trying to sell my car with full honesty bcz i believe allah ko hisab dena hy .. i dont care about money its about dignity and honesty and commitment ..
so many people visited wasted my time i was sharing the honest video and told them final price still they were visiting and they knew my final offer still giving me false arguments..
my car smell like new car just saying one guy told me
- kuch bumper main scaratches hy i told him..bcz ager yei bhi nai chahi u can buy 3850 + 50 registration 40 ke par jae ge. wo le loo bahi why are u wasting my time
people are calling coming and visiting i was waiting for them and not going any where ...
presenting my car like i m criminal who bought this car mistakenly they are acting like ihsan kar rahe hy ..
then my ads was about expire and i said dame it.. sell hone ho ge..ho jae ge.. bhar main jae..
i was cleaning up my car .. i told some vistiors i am available on weekend this time.. if u have time come over here or leav e it.
in this frustration i contacted @ali.7861 bcz he was also trying to sell his Toyota i was asking him what offer are you getting..
i was trying to analyze this situation..
in last weekend i got 3 visitors in a day .. one was banker came from Bahria.
second was business man Jeweller
third guy was property dealer.
my first visitor was banker .... he came with wife and he said he got approval of limited amount please sell this car to me at 2750 ...
my last final offer was 28 dead final.
bcz he was his wife both were telling me we have limited approval stuff like that.. i told him ok bahi..
2775 final we got the deal..
and
second party came he said 25 final this is the deal .. i m offering you valid for today..but next day he offered me 28
he was ready but i excused him bcz i made the commitment let me show the snap shot
the kool part is what...
he gave me the Payorder c he told me please return me 25k .i will return u next month for sure..bcz he said .i am kinda short of money
i have to buy the insurance bcz my car is finance by bank al falah i also work in bank al falah without insurance bank will never give me the car.
he gave so many excused lame majbooriya .. i cant explain it was long conversation of majbooris.. i told him bahi ap u have to tell me first..
he told me return me 25k ...please .. and he will pay me back in next month.
2785 ke gari de..even i got the offer of 28 u can see in the snap shot..
uper se 25k return .. man.. he told me list of majbooris.. over all not a bad guy..but still
kher.. i returned him 25k . i m kinda soft heart guy .. well
finally i handed over the car....
he told how are you going to go back to ur home.. i said well bykea.. my alto at home.. i brought picanto at office so i can give the car..

i gave him the car
he said ..i will give u the ride to your home..i said ok but he said u have to wait little bit .i said why
bcz he said time was 8:30pm night time..he was going to tariq road for installing the LCD .. imagine..
he went there installed it.. cost was like 25k
imagine what was i going through ..he lied to me.. even i sold him at less price and then 25k loan from me kinda.. with so many family issues problems he explained to me well ...
but LCD lagane wo banda raat ke 8:30pm chala gaya.. bahi LCD ke paisay kaha se ae
finally
i can say .. not a single person was honest who came to visit my car.. seriously!
